Kolkata, Jan. 2 -- : The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has initiated the process to attach assets worth around Rs 3.6 crore belonging to West Bengal's Jail and Micro, Small and Cottage Industries Minister Chandranath Sinha in connection with the primary teachers' recruitment scam, sources said.
According to ED officials, the attachment proceedings covering both movable and immovable properties registered in the name of the minister and his family members have already begun.
Chandranath Sinha, a Trinamool Congress MLA from Birbhum's Bolpur constituency, is an accused in the high-profile primary recruitment irregularities case.
