Bengaluru, Aug. 23 -- In a major crackdown on illegal betting, the Directorate of Enforcement (ED), Bengaluru Zonal Office, arrested Chitradurga MLA KC Veerendra today for allegedly running largescale online and offline betting operations.
The arrest follows a two-day search operation at 31 locations across India, including Gangtok, Chitradurga, Bengaluru City, Hubballi, Jodhpur, Mumbai, and Goa. The raids included five casinos in Goa - Puppy's Casino Gold, Ocean Rivers Casino, Puppy's Casino Pride, Ocean 7 Casino, and Big Daddy Casino.
