Nurpur (Kangra), Dec. 19 -- Former Pradesh Congress spokesperson Sudarshan Sharma on Thursday described the Enforcement Directorate's (ED) action in the National Herald case as "malafide and politically motivated," alleging it was part of a broader political conspiracy.

Addressing media persons here, Sharma said that no FIR had been registered in the case, and therefore no criminal case was made out against Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. He claimed that the matter lacked any criminal basis from the very beginning.
