Bhubaneswar, Oct. 24 -- To handle the festive season rush effectively, East Coast Railway has made elaborate arrangements by running 13 pairs of Special Trains comprising 232 trips from Khurda Road Division towards different parts of the country, aiming to carry more than 2.5 lakh passengers and reduce rush in regular trains.
Additional Divisional Railway Manager (Infrastructure) of Khurda Road Division, Subhrajyoti Mandal, informed that special focus has been laid on managing the heavy rush of passengers travelling towards various destinations such as Dhanbad & Patna in Bihar, Yesvantpur (Bangalore) in Karnataka, Udhna (Surat) in Gujarat, Nizamuddin in Delhi, Shalimar and Sealdah in West Bengal, Virangana Laxmibai in Madhya Pradesh, and H...
