Bhubaneswar, Feb. 24 -- East Coast Railway (ECoR) has achieved a significant milestone in scrap disposal by accomplishing the Railway Board's scrap sales target ahead of schedule.
As on February 20, ECoR has recorded total scrap sales of Rs.260.02 crore, surpassing the target 40 days in advance.
The target was met through meticulous planning, transparent e-auction processes, systematic identification and segregation of scrap materials and coordinated efforts across divisions and departments.
The success is the result of coordinated teamwork across the Zone. The Stores Department led the initiative with dedication and precision, supported by the Divisions and field units.
