Bhubaneswar, Oct. 21 -- The East Coast Railway (ECoR) has introduced 367 special trains to effectively manage the surge in passenger traffic during the ongoing festive season.

A total of 76 special trains have already been operated since October 1, 2025, facilitating travel for over 70,000 passengers. ECoR continues to respond to real-time passenger demand by operating additional trains as needed.

ECoR General Manager Parmeshwar Funkwal today reviewed and closely monitored the elaborate arrangements to ensure passenger convenience, safety, and smooth operations from the 24-hour War Room at the ECoR Headquarters in Bhubaneswar.
