New Delhi, Oct. 27 -- India's economy continues to gain momentum as demand conditions across rural and urban regions strengthen with the implementation of GST reforms and the festive season, a Finance Ministry monthly report said today.
The report said, "Inflation has remained well under control, supported by deflation in food categories, which led to a slowdown in retail headline inflation of 1.7pc in Q2FY26. The prices of non-food and non-fuel items remained stable, with core inflation coming in at 4.6 pc in September 2025."The Finance Ministry said the manufacturing and services sector has expanded healthily on the supply side.
