Sourav Shekhar, Jan. 29 -- Chief Economic Adviser Dr. V. Anantha Nageswaran on Thursday said the Economic Survey 2025-26 carries a clear and central message on the critical importance of manufacturing and exports for India's future growth in an increasingly fragmented global economic environment.

Addressing a press conference here with a presentation on Economic Survey 2025-26, the CEA said India's economic outlook remains positive despite heightened global uncertainty, noting that the country has laid a strong foundation for sustained growth through the second half of the decade.
