New Delhi, Oct. 31 -- The Election Commission of India has ramped up its efforts to ensure peaceful and clean polls in the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections by conducting a comprehensive review of inter-state border preparedness.
In a crucial step to safeguard the electoral process, the ECI has ordered strict vigil along the borders to prevent the illegal movement of unauthorized cash, liquor, and other illicit materials. To enforce this, the commission has deployed Flying Squads and Static Surveillance Teams to actively monitor the movement of goods and vehicles.
