Kolkata, Oct. 8 -- A high-level team of the Election Commission of India (ECI), led by Deputy Election Commissioner Gyanesh Bharti, will review the preparedness for the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in West Bengal at the office of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) today.

The three-hour meeting will also take up several key concerns, including allegations of large-scale irregularities in the appointment of booth-level officers (BLOs) in certain districts and issues related to district-wise Assembly constituency mapping.
