New Delhi, Nov. 23 -- The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Sunday announced remarkable progress in Phase II of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR), with over 99 per cent of electors across 12 states and union Territories receiving Enumeration Forms (EFs).

The Commission's Daily Bulletin revealed that more than 50.47 crore EFs have been distributed, and nearly 40 per cent, over 20 crore forms, have already been digitised.

Among the top performers in EF distribution are Goa and Lakshadweep, achieving 100 per cent coverage, closely followed by Andaman and Nicobar Islands at 99.98 per cent, Madhya Pradesh at 99.82 per cent, and West Bengal at 99.75 per cent.
