ECI imposes exit poll ban for Jubilee Hills assembly bye-election

Hyderabad, Oct. 15 -- The Election Commission of India (ECI) has officially notified a ban on the conduct and publication of exit polls in connection with the Jubilee Hills Assembly constituency bye-election, District Election Officer and GHMC Commissioner R V Karnan said in a press release on Wednesday.

According to Notification No. 576/EXIT/2025/SDR/Vol.I, dated October 13, 2025, no person shall conduct, publish, or publicize any exit poll through print, electronic, or any other media during the period from 0700 hours on November 6 (Thursday) to 1830 hours on November 11 (Tuesday).
