New Delhi, Nov. 4 -- The Election Commission of India (ECI) has significantly ramped up its efforts to ensure a free and fair electoral process for the upcoming Bihar Assembly Elections 2025.
This intensified monitoring has resulted in the seizure of illicit inducements surpassing Rs 108 crore as of November 3. In a proactive measure to address Model Code of Conduct (MCC) violations swiftly, the Commission has deployed 824 flying squads across the state.
These teams are tasked with addressing public complaints filed via the C-VIGIL app within a tight timeframe of 100 minutes.
