Thiruvananthapuram, Dec. 12 -- The Kerala State Election Commission has urged candidates and political parties to maintain restraint in their celebrations as Kerala prepares for the counting of votes for the 2025 local body elections on December 13.

Counting will be conducted at 244 centres across the state, and the Model Code of Conduct will remain in force until December 18.

The Commission said live updates on counting trends and results will be available on its TREND platform, with the first set of results expected by 8.30 am and the complete results likely to be published by noon.
