Patna, Oct. 31 -- The Election Commission (EC) today sought a detailed report from the Director General of Police (DGP), Bihar, over the killing of Dularchand Yadav during an election campaign in the Mokama Assembly constituency.
According to official sources, yesterday, the incident occurred when supporters of two rival political factions clashed during campaigning, leading to open firing. In the exchange, Dularchand Yadav was shot dead on the spot. Immediately after the incident, a heavy police force was deployed to control the situation and prevent further escalation.
