Patna, Aug. 1 -- Election Commission today released the draft voters' list after the first phase of Special Intensive Revision (SIR) in Bihar and invited objections from voters and all political parties
in this connection within one month.
Election Commission sources said here that a total of 7.24 crores voters had submitted their forms with details during the first phase of SIR which lasted for one month.
With publication of the draft voters' list, objections had been invited from voters and all political parties till September 1 and corrective measures would be taken consequently, sources added.
