Patna, Oct. 9 -- The Election Commission has directed the Chief Secretary and Chief Electoral Officer of Bihar to ensure strict compliance with the instructions related to removal of defacement from Government, public and private property.
The EC has also asked the administration to maintain vigil related to misuse of official vehicles or Government accommodation by any political party, candidate or any other person connected with election, ban on issuance of advertisement at the cost of public exchequer in view of the electoral Model Code of Conduct (MCC) enforced with the formal declaration of the election schedule.
