New Delhi, March 11 -- The Elections Commission of India (ECI) has invited suggestions from all national and state political parties by April 30 to strengthen the election process.

As per the notification, the Commission has called for an interaction with the party presidents and seniors to further strengthen the electoral processes in accordance with the established law.

This comes after the opposition parties raised questions over the duplicity in some electors' photo identity cards after the Maharashtra polls.
