Kolkata, Dec. 11 -- The Election Commission on Thursday convened a high-level coordination meeting here with representatives of both state and central agencies as part of its pre-poll preparations for the upcoming Assembly election.
The closed-door meeting, held at the office of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of West Bengal, brought together officials from 25 different departments and enforcement bodies.
Top officials, including the Director General of West Bengal Police, the Kolkata Police Commissioner, and senior officers from central armed forces such as the BSF, SSB, CISFand RPF, attended the session.
