Patna, Nov. 7 -- The Election Commission today said foolproof security cover has been made for safeguarding EVMs used for polling during the first phase of Bihar assembly elections held on November 6.

According to Election Commission, EVMs used for polling for first phase of Bihar Assembly elections on November 6 were kept in strong rooms under heavy security arrangements.

Strong rooms have been created at designated place in district headquarters.

Security has been handed over to the Central Security Force to safeguard the EVMs. The state police has been given responsibility to provide security of EVMs in outer ring of the security cover.
