Ranchi, Dec. 15 -- The Eastern Zone School Band Competition will commence on December 15, at the Mega Sports Complex, Khelgaon, under the aegis of the Jharkhand Education Project Council (JEPC), functioning under the School Education and Literacy DepartmentSchool boys' and girls' Pipe and Brass Band teams from 11 states of eastern India are participating in the competition. All participating teams reached Jharkhand by this evening and were accorded a warm welcome by the organisers.
