Aizawl, April 5 -- 'Easter Sunday' was marked with devotion and celebration across Mizoram, as Christians commemorated the resurrection of Jesus Christ with prayer services, community gatherings and traditional observances.
Churches across denominations held special services through the day, beginning with early morning prayers and continuing with worship and fellowship programmes. The occasion also saw participation of youth and children, along with the sharing of customary Easter symbols and refreshments among congregations.
Various Christian denominations observed the festival in their own traditions, while emphasising the central message of faith, hope and renewal associated with Easter.
