Gondia, Sept. 23 -- A man and his son were electrocuted in Tiroda town of Gondia district of Maharashtra while attempting to charge an e-rickshaw, police said today.
The deceased were identified as Naresh Bariyekar (55) and his son Durgesh (22), residents of Sant Ravidas ward, Tiroda.
According to police, the incident occurred yesterday evening when Naresh came in contact with an electrified shutter near his house while charging the vehicle, and his son was also electrocuted when he tried to save him.
