Pune, July 13 -- Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar today formally inaugurated the Professional Structural Engineers Association at Bhandarkar Oriental Research Institute auditorium here. Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, he said that India is on the path of becoming the third-largest economy in the world driven by rapid development and contribution of major infrastructure projects. He said that the need for environment-friendly, sustainable development and disaster-resilient construction has become critical in today's times.
