Bengaluru, Nov. 17 -- Opposition Leader R Ashoka on Monday raised questions over the Karnataka Congress leadership's activities in Delhi, warning that Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar could be sidelined in a potential cabinet expansion and also criticised the state government for failing on governance fronts.

Speaking to reporters, Ashoka questioned why senior Congress leaders, including DK Shivakumar's family, were visiting Delhi if there is supposedly no change in the Chief Minister.

"If there is no CM change, why are these meetings happening with Mallikarjun Kharge?" he asked, fueling speculation over internal party maneuverings in the ruling Congress.
