Hyderabad, Feb. 1 -- Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka on Sunday expressed disappointment over the union Budget, stating that it failed to address the state's key development needs and ignored Telangana despite repeated representations to the Centre.

Speaking to the media at Praja Bhavan, Bhatti Vikramarka said the Chief Minister, ministers and MPs had met the Prime Minister and union Ministers with specific proposals, hoping projects such as the Musi River rejuvenation, Regional Ring Road (RRR) and Metro expansion would find a place in the Budget. "Unfortunately, nothing was given to Telangana," he said.
