Bokaro, Nov. 14 -- The long-pending dispute at the Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) Thermal Power Plant in Bokaro district has finally been resolved, paving the way for the resumption of electricity generation from November 17.
Official sources confirmed that the issue, which had persisted for the past four months over the lifting of ash, has been settled through the intervention of the district administration.
According to officials, disagreements between the plant management and local residents and leaders over ash removal from the ash pond had led to an impasse.
