Imphal, March 23 -- The duodecennial Celebration of the High Court of Manipur was observed here on Sunday to mark the completion of 12 years of establishment of the High Court of Manipur.

Manipur Governor, Ajay Kumar Bhalla, laid the foundation stone for constructing the District and Sessions Court building of Churachandpur and also announced the creation of new positions within the Chief Justice Secretariat of the High Court.

Governor said, Manipur has a rich judicial legacy starting from the ancient times of the Courts of Kutchu and Pacha.
