Bokaro, Oct. 6 -- Jharkhand Loktantrik Krantikari Morcha (JLKM) chief and Dumri MLA Jayram Mahato has made a startling revelation, claiming that a mafia group has placed a contract worth Rs 1.5 crore for his assassination.
Expressing grave concern for his safety, Mahato has urged the state government to provide immediate security protection.
According to Mahato, two individuals recently approached him with confidential information, revealing that a criminal syndicate had issued the contract to eliminate him.
"The gang leader reportedly said he has emotional memories of my childhood, which is why he sent two people to warn me about the plot," Mahato stated.
