Dumka, Dec. 3 -- A court in Dumka, has sentenced a man convicted in a sexual harassment case to five years of rigorous imprisonment along with a fine of Rs 25,000.
The judgment was pronounced on Wednesday by the court of the First District and Additional Sessions Judge N.N. Mishra.
The sentencing pertains to Dumka Nagar Police Station Case No. 31/2021 (POCSO Case No. 15/2021). During the hearing on the point of sentence, Public Prosecutor Champa Kumari represented the State and presented seven witnesses, who were also cross-examined during the trial.
