Thiruvananthapuram, March 23 -- As the summer vacation is round the corner, District Tourism Promotion Council (DTPC) of Thiruvananthapuram has arranged an array of facilities, including boating and swimming, at Akkulam, Kappil and Neyyar Dam for children.
Akkulam Tourist Village has a children's park and a swimming pool while boat journey is available for visitors at Kappil and Neyyar Dam.
The children's park at Akkulam, which features modern and safe playing facilities, can be used by more than 100 visitors at a time.
The swimming pool will function on all days except Monday. On Wednesdays, entry to the pool has been restricted to women. There will be facilities for training of swimming for children during summer vacation.
