New Delhi, April 8 -- Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), a Department of Science and Technology (DST) statutory body, Department of Bio-sciences and Bio-engineering (DBB), IIT Bombay have been working on the development of a gel which can capture and make the causative agent of COVID-19 'novel corona virus' inactive.
Once developed, this gel that can be applied to nasal passage to stop major entry point of the Coronavirus and this solution is not only expected to protect the safety of health workers, but can also lead to reduction in community transmission of COVID-19, thereby helping disease management.
