Shimla, Feb. 11 -- Himachal Pradesh witnessed largely dry weather over the past 24 hours, with only a trace of snowfall reported in Gondla in Lahaul and Spiti, indicating that winter conditions continue to prevail in the higher reaches.

No significant rainfall was recorded anywhere in the state, according to the Meteorological Centre in Shimla.

Day temperatures registered a noticeable rise, making the weather pleasant in most parts of the state. Maximum temperatures at many stations were above normal by two to four degrees Celsius.
