According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Ranchi Centre, the southwest monsoon is in its withdrawal phase, leading to a stable weather pattern across the state. The skies are likely to remain clear till October 18, offering temporary relief to farmers engaged in crop harvesting.

However, the prolonged dry spell could affect groundwater levels and moisture retention in agricultural fields.
