Bareilly (UP), May 16 -- An alcoholic youth first thrashed his wife and then tried to kill her by hanging her upside down from the roof in Aonla Tehsil of Bareilly district in Uttar Pradesh, police sources said here on Friday.
Police sources said that the police have registered an FIR against four people in this case. The video related to the incident also went viral on social media.
Police sources said that the youth, in an inebriated state, first thrashed his wife and then tried to kill her by hanging her upside down from the roof in Lathaita locality two days ago. "The people of the locality caught the woman in time and saved her life. This entire incident was recorded on a mobile by a neighbour," they said.
