Giridih, Dec. 9 -- In a late-night accident in Giridih district, a bullock cart driver and his two bulls were killed after an asphalt-laden truck, allegedly driven under the influence of alcohol, rammed into their cart on the Jamua-Pachamba main road near Ghoranjo under Jamua police station limits.

The truck (registration number NL 04 D 8705) reportedly hit the bullock cart with great force on Monday night, resulting in the instant death of the cart driver and both animals. The deceased has been identified as Mohan Bhogta, son of Nunuram Bhogta, a resident of Ghoranjo.
