Mainpuri, Aug. 14 -- A tragic incident unfolded in Chitoa village under Bichhwan police station limits today when a man, allegedly under the influence of alcohol, threw his three-year-old son off the roof following a heated argument with his wife.
The child was rushed to the district hospital in critical condition, where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
According to local reports, the incident occurred around 2:30 pm. The accused, identified as Rajbahadur, is said to be a habitual drinker and frequently engaged in domestic violence.
