Aizawl, Dec. 17 -- Mizoram's Excise and Narcotics Department has seized a massive quantity of drugs and intoxicants worth Rs 71.64 crore and collected Rs 4.53 crore in revenue during the period from January 2024 to September 2025, Minister of State for Excise and Narcotics Lalnghinglova Hmar said on Wednesday.
Addressing a press conference at his office chamber, the minister said the department has intensified its fight against drugs and alcohol abuse, even as it continues to strengthen its institutional capacity.
