Imphal, Sept. 1 -- Manipur Police and Security Forces have intensified their crackdown on drug trafficking, illegal arms, and insurgent activities across the state, resulting in a series of significant arrests and seizures.
Police today said security forces arrested two drug smugglers from Tengnoupal Naka Check Post in Tengnoupal district.
The arrested persons, identified as Jahiya Khan and MD Zamir Khan, both from Moreh Premnagar Ward No. 4, were found in possession of 3.387 kilograms of WY tablets along with a four-wheeler.
In another major operation, Manipur Police arrested two individuals from Churachandpur district, namely, Paokholal of Lhanghoi Veng and Kamkholal of Joljam Village, under Singhat Police Station.
