Chandigarh, May 8 -- The Counter Intelligence (CI) unit of Amritsar police busted an international drug smuggling module operated by a foreign-based smuggler and arrested two of his India-based operatives, said DGP Punjab Gaurav Yadav here on Thursday. The two accused were identified as Gurpinder Singh and Sajan, both residents of Amritsar. He said the police recovered 10 kg heroin worth Rs 70 crore in the international market and Rs 1 lakh drug money from them.
