Pathanamthitta, Oct. 19 -- President Droupadi Murmu will visit the Sabarimala Lord Ayyappa Temple on October 22, marking a rare pilgrimage by a sitting President of India to the famed hill shrine in Kerala.
Her visit comes ahead of the Mandala-Makaravilakku pilgrimage season and carries symbolic weight amid renewed discussions on temple governance and transparency.The last sitting President to visit Sabarimala was VV Giri, who made a pilgrimage during his tenure.
