Dimapur, Dec. 17 -- The Mon district administration on Wednesday banned flying of drones or unmanned aerial vehicles over or near military establishments and other sensitive installations with immediate effect and until further notice.
In an order, Mon district magistrate Wennyei Konyak directed all citizens, residents, visitors, organisations and media persons to strictly refrain from flying, operating or using drones/UVAs in and around Assam Rifles camps and military establishments and other restricted, sensitive and notified areas within the district.
