Vijayawada, May 19 -- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has announced that the Drone City will come up on 300 acres in Kurnool district.

At a review meeting with the officials in the Secretariat at Amaravati near here on Monday, the Chief Minister said that the proposed Drone City would be established on 300 acres in the Orvakal Industrial Node.

"The Phase 1 will cover 116 acres, and 38 companies have already expressed interest in partnering. The Detailed Project Report (DPR) is ready, and the tendering process will be completed by June 12," The Chief Minister made it clear.
