Lucknow, Sept. 27 -- A car driver from Kanpur was allegedly drugged and looted by two passengers near Charbagh Metro Station in Lucknow, officials confirmed today.
The victim, Basiq Ahmad, a resident of Chamanganj, Kanpur, had travelled to Lucknow with a private vehicle registered in the name of his brother-in-law, Zeeshan Khan.
According to the police, the incident took place in the Naka police station area on September 20. While returning to Kanpur, Basiq picked up two passengers from near Charbagh Metro Station. The duo booked his car for Rs 1200 to travel to Barra in Kanpur.
