Lucknow, March 31 -- A drive against unauthorised e-rickshaws and autos will be launched across Uttar Pradesh from Tuesday, Transport Department officials said here on Monday.
Officials said that the campaign, which will continue until April 30, follows Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's directive in this regard during a recent meeting, reaffirming security, law and order as top priorities, as well as warning against any negligence.
Transport Commissioner Brajesh Narayan Singh said that the Department will closely monitor the campaign, with designated nodal officers overseeing its execution.
