Kochi, Nov. 8 -- The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) has foiled a drug smuggling attempt at the Calicut International Airport, recovering nearly 1 kg of Crystal Methamphetamine from a passenger who arrived from Muscat.
Based on specific intelligence, officers of the DRI Calicut Regional Unit, under the Cochin Zonal Unit, intercepted a passenger from Thrissur and recovered 19 packets of crystal methamphetamine, weighing 974.5 grams, concealed inside a diaper packet in his checked-in baggage.
