Lucknow, Feb. 14 -- A major international drug trafficking network was busted in Uttar Pradesh's capital Lucknow, with the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) seizing heroin worth about Rs 10 crore. The consignment was allegedly being transported from the Nepal border to Delhi-NCR, officials said here on Saturday.
Acting on specific intelligence, a DRI team intercepted a bus on Ayodhya Road near BBD University on Friday evening. Officials had received confidential information that a heroin consignment brought from Nepal was being routed to Delhi-NCR via a passenger bus.
