Bijapur, Aug. 18 -- A District Reserve Guard (DRG) constable was killed and three others injured today in an IED blast triggered by Maoists in the Indravati National Park area of Bijapur district, Bastar division.
The slain jawan Dinesh Nag, was accorded a tearful farewell with full state honours in Bijapur. Senior officials, including Bastar Range Inspector General of Police P. Sundarraj, local legislators and public representatives, joined colleagues and residents in paying their last respects.
