Chennai, Jan. 30 -- Stirring yet another row, Tamil Nadu Governor R N Ravi
fired a fresh salvo at the ruling DMK alleging that the Dravidian ideology followers
are still continuing to mock the Father of the Nation and Apostle of Peace, Mahatma
Gandhi, even now.
"During his lifetime Gandhi Ji was vigorously opposed and mocked by the followers
of the Dravidian ideology", he said on Thursday after paying tributes to the Mahatma
on his death anniversary at the Raj Bhavan and also at the Gandhi Mandapam.
"But should he be mocked even today?" Mr Ravi asked in a social media post, while
accusing DMK President and Chief Minister MK Stalin of not honouring the Mahatma
in a befitting manner.
