Sambhal, Sept. 24 -- A tragic accident occurred in Atarasi village, Sambhal district, last night when a high-speed Wagon R car struck two girls, resulting in the death of a 6-year-old girl and severe injuries to her 17-year-old cousin.
The incident took place between 8:30 and 9:00 PM while Gunjan, a resident of Moradabad, and her cousin Laaltes were walking along the road.
The car's impact was so forceful that Gunjan got trapped on the bonnet. Shockingly, the driver didn't stop; instead, he sped away, dragging the child for nearly 18 kilometers before dumping her by the roadside.
